Brief
Working in partnership with NHS Dudley and Creative Health we were challenged to create a high impact tobacco education programme that was designed for young people between the ages of 11-15 years old.
Solution
We created an underground movement knows as 'The Resistance', who's ambition was to encourage young people to unite and make a stand together.
The main feature of the programme is a 30 minute presentation delivered in schools to whole year groups by a professional actor. The actor plays a role that links into a series of high impact media clips that enhance the presentation.
The Resistance also uses a host of social media platforms to engage their followers and educate them further using regular tobacco related questions offering prizes as a reward. To increase the amount of brand exposure and engage with other groups of young people a customized vehicle that included an internal presentation system was created.
The Resistance programme would not have ben possible without the support from Hayley Jennings (Young Person's Advisor, Dudley Stop Smoking Service) and the young people from Dudley Kick Ash Project Team (www.dudleykickash.com).
