Solution
Following initial consultations with young people the decision was made to create an interactive game. A online version that would engage the target audience in the subject so whilst they are playing the game, they are subconciously learning the key messages.
Next the young people helped to develop a storyline, record a script, design the levels, and create the characters. This work was then all integrated into the platform game. Once complete the game action was recorded to create a video trailer that encouraged people to play online. The preview was displayed on plasma screens in health centre waiting rooms.
