Brief
To run a series of workshops with a selected group of students at Wolverley High School that will help develop their artistic skills and improve self confidence. The outcome must be something that each participant felt proud to be part of.
Solution
A fashion show that was branded, promoted, and organised by the students. Each student contributed to the overall design and brand of the event. They also made the garments using graffiti art and textile design that they themselves modelled at the event.
The event was attended by over 100 friends and family and the participants have since moved on to achieve higher than expected academic results. Teachers reported witnessing a transformation in the girls attitude to learning and aspirations following the event.
